Looking at our related interests, which I might share with some members of the RACI, I'd like to pose the following question: what's your favourite card or board game that somehow has chemistry involved in its theme?

Terraforming Mars by FryxGames is certainly one of the regular board games I play in which STEM features quite heavily in its mechanics and, as gameplay involves raising the O₂ levels and liberating liquid water on the Martian surface, chemistry plays a part.

The Manhattan Project and the subsequent The Manhattan Project: Energy Empire also tick a few chemistry-related boxes-the latter is a turn-limited game that sees you playing the role of a country balancing development of power plants with environmental damage.

Although I have never played it, one could argue that Potion Explosion's alchemical theme might appeal to some adventurous synthetic chemists.

Terraforming Mars has been on my want-to-play list for a while. Might have to find a copy. 

I've added you on Board Game Arena. I mostly use it to play 7 Wonders though.

My favourite one is called Alchemists, complex but very replayable. You have to go to conferences and debunk your peers.

@Talia Enright – I'd not heard of Alchemists and, after reading about it on Board Game Geek, I can certainly see the appeal
