Chartered Member - MRACI CChem

RACI Chartered Membership (MRACI CChem) recognises individuals who meet the criteria for professional standing in the chemical sciences as defined under the RACI By-laws. Being a Chartered Member signifies excellence and adherence to high professional standards in chemistry and enhances your international professional recognition.

 

Chartered Members enjoy all the benefits of MRACI membership plus the formal designation MRACI CChem, which reflects your professional competence and commitment to advancing chemical science.

 

Best for: Members with a relevant chemistry qualification and demonstrated professional experience who are eligible for Chartered Chemist recognition.

All RACI Membership applications will be assessed by our Membership Unit, please ensure all relevant documents are uploaded.

Some events, programs and services may incur an additional charge which will be clearly noted. As a member these will be at a discounted rate.

Fellow Membership - FRACI or FRACI CChem

The Fellow Membership grade is awarded in recognition of a Member who is in a position of eminence within the chemistry profession. Election to this grade is based on:

  • Services rendered to the RACI
  • Academic qualifications and honours
  • Experience and status
  • Creative achievement in chemistry
  • Responsibility and contribution to chemical science.

All applications must include two detailed reports from RACI Fellows who know the applicant personally along with their signatures, if this is not possible Fellows of other societies such as the American Chemical Society or the Royal Society of Chemistry may be acceptable as referees.

Acceptance as a Fellow is based upon the recommendation of the Member Assessment Committee.
