Forensic Chemistry School Activities & Competition
CSI Down Under combines hands-on experiments, real-life forensic cases and science communication to spark the interest of students in chemistry. The educational content and competition are tailored to year 5 or 6 primary school students. This program is suitable for all schools and students and can be performed with minimal resources, all available at grocery stores. The Forensic School Activities & Competition has been designed by experts with experience in research, forensic chemistry, science communication and teaching.

Program:

The RACI Forensic School Activities & Competition consists of educational material for three 1-hour lectures with hands-on experiments to solve a forensic chemistry case and a 1-hour lecture on science communication.

Additionally, the students will learn about the importance of science communication skills and can use their talent and practice their skills by entering the complementary RACI competition.

The Forensic School Activities & Competition can be entered by all schools in Victoria
This Competition will now take place in 2024
