Copyright of the text content of Chemistry in Australia is held by the publisher, The Royal Australian Chemical Institute, Inc. Permission to reproduce part or all of any text content should be obtained from the RACI or Chemistry in Australia.

Authors submitting feature articles to the magazine are required to agree to copyright transfer before publication. Please email wools@westnet.com.au to request a copy of the agreement. In practice, the magazine does not decline reasonable requests to republish feature articles in other publications, but we wish to keep track of and be appropriately cited in republished material.

Reproduction and communication for educational purposes

The Australian Copyright Act 1968 (the Act) allows 10% of the number of words in an edition of Chemistry in Australia to be reproduced and/or communicated by any Australian educational institution for its educational purposes provided that the educational institution (or the body that administers it) has given a remuneration notice to Copyright Agency Limited (CAL) under part VB of the Act.
