The Assembly advises the Board on issues related to the chemical profession and operation of the RACI. The composition of the Assembly is:

• President
• President-elect
• Honorary General Secretary
• Honorary General Treasurer
• Presidents of the Branches
• Chairpersons of National Divisions.

The Assembly meets twice yearly in May and November, or more frequently if required.

The Assembly oversees the establishment and operation of a number of subcommittees which focus on specific issues such as marketing, communication, professional development, etc.
