Crystal Growing Competition

Aimed predominantly at higher level primary school this competition is run in many states and offers students an opportunity to grow their own crystals. Please contact the state specific person for any queries and further information.

Titration Stakes 2008

The Australian National Chemical Analysis Competition is a competition for year 11/12 students run under the auspices of The Royal Australian Chemical Institute Inc. National Chemistry Week Committee. Students compete in teams of three in the initial Regional Competition involving a simple acid-base titration. Regional competitions are held during September/October, at locations throughout Australia. The RACI NT Branch organises both the preliminary and the final competitions at the Charles Darwin University's science labs.
