Titration Stakes
Regional Competitions

The Australian National Chemical Analysis (Titration) Competition is a competition for year 10/11/12 students run under the auspices of The Royal Australian Chemical Institute Inc. The aim of the competition is to encourage students who enjoy Chemistry - especially practical Chemistry - and to recognise those who are becoming proficient. Entrants compete in teams of three (3). Each member of each team performs a simple acid-base titration exercise. Regional competitions are organised throughout Australia during the year, and the leading teams in the Regional Competitions are eligible to enter the Finals of the National Competition, to be held in the second half of the year (September/October). To obtain dates and details for the Regional Competitions please contact your RACI State Coordinator listed below. We are grateful to the host Institutions for allowing us the use of their facilities, and to all the many individuals who volunteer to assist in any way.
