Conditions of the Award.

1. The Division of Biomolecular Chemistry of The Royal Australian Chemical Institute Inc. shall have an Award entitled: "The Adrien Albert Award". This shall be the premier award of the Division.

2. The Award shall be given for sustained, outstanding Research in any field, eg medicinal or agricultural chemistry, related to Biomolecular chemistry.

3. The research upon which the Award is made must be conducted wholly, or largely, within Australia and New Zealand.

4. The successful candidate must be a Corporate Member of The RACI.

5. The Secretary of the Division will call for nominations at least six months before the meeting at which the Award will be presented.

6. The recipient of the Award shall normally be invited to present a paper at a Divisional meeting describing the research upon which the award was granted.

7. Nominations will close two months after the Call for Nominations

8. The Committee of the Division will review the candidates and choose the recipient of the Award.

9. The Division reserves the right to not grant an Award if the Committee considers no candidates to be of sufficient standard.

10. Nominations for the Award can be made by any Corporate Member of The RACI, and must include the following information:

• Names of candidate and nominator

• Curriculum vitae of candidate

• A concise statement of the candidate's contribution to Biomolecular research

• A list of published research papers, and any other material (eg books, reviews, honours, etc) relevant to their nomination.

• Names of two referees with detailed knowledge of the candidate's contributions.
