Women in Chemistry Industry Networking Event - 6 May 2013

The RACI Women in Chemistry Group is pleased to announce our Industry Networking Event scheduled for Monday 6 May 2013.

Our key note speaker for this year's Industry Networking Event is Dr Esra Ogru, CEO of Phosphagenics.

Dr Esra Ogru completed her PhD at Monash University in the Department of Biochemistry. She has been CEO of Phosphagenics Limited since April 2010. Her responsibilities include involvement in setting strategic direction, management of operations and financing activities for the company. She also plays an active role in driving key commercial negotiations, development programs and corporate activity. She achieves this through strong leadership of an experienced pharmaceutical development team and strategic collaborations.

Dr Ogru has many years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries working in development and senior management roles. She has 15 years of experience in the management and coordination of pre-clinical and clinical development of pharmaceutical products.

She is currently the Chairperson of AusBiotech’s Victorian Division and a member of the Victorian Biotechnology Advisory Council.
