The Polymer Division of the Royal Australian Chemical Institute in association with the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering has established a prestigious lecture series to promote polymer science and engineering in Australia which are known as the Solomon Lectures, in honour of Prof. David Solomon. These lectures are given by an eminent polymer scientist and are held at various locations throughout Australasia.
