Bioactive Discovery & Development Group Dinner - 6 Aug 2013

6 August 2013, VIC

The second Bioactive Discovery and Development Group Dinner for 2013 will be held on Tuesday 6 August at 7pm. These dinners are excellent opportunities to meet with chemists from the private and public sectors, to engage with our carefully selected after-dinner speakers, and enjoy some fine food in relaxed surroundings.

Our speaker for this event is Professor Peter Doherty, Nobel Laureate.

Prof. Doherty jointly won the Nobel Prize for Medicine in 1996, is the recipient of the Order of Australia and was named Australian of the Year in 1997. His talk will include details of the new institute that bears his name, set up in a joint venture between the University of Melbourne and Melbourne Health and scheduled for completion by the end of 2013.

This dinner will be held at 7pm at the Conservatory Restaurant at:

The Pumphouse Hotel
128 Nicholson St, Fitzroy
(Melway 2B K9, opposite Carlton Gardens North)

The cost for finger food, the two course meal, and a complementary glass of wine and tea/coffee will be:

RACI Member (or reciprocal society): $55
RACI Student Member: $30

Student Non-RACI Member: $40
(Student Non-RACI members will have to register by calling RACI Vic Branch on (03) 9328 2808)

This event would not be possible without the generous support of Davies Collison Cave.
