Chemeca Student Travel Bursaries

The Industrial Chemistry Division offers a number of bursaries for student members of the RACI to support their attendance at the Chemeca 2013 conference. The value of each bursary will be at least $250. In order to be eligible for a RACI Chemeca Student Travel Bursary, the applicant must be a bona-fide student and present a paper at Chemeca 2013.

Entries will be judged on the following:

1. Originality of the research described in the paper
2. Contribution of the research to the industrial chemistry or process chemistry field
3. Innovative approach to problem solving
4. Scientific standard of the paper

RK Murphy Medal

The R.K. Murphy Medal is the most prestigious award given by the Industrial Chemistry Division of the RACI and is presented at the annual Chemeca conference. In 2013, the medal will be presented at Chemeca2013 in Brisbane. (www.chemeca2013.com) The medal will be awarded to a member of the Institute for their outstanding achievement in process chemistry, chemical engineering or related areas in the chemical industry (including commercial or marketing functions). The award also includes a cash component of $2500.
