Cereal Chemistry Division Scholarship Program.

There are two type of scholarships awarded by the Cereal Chemistry Division - Conference Attendance Scholarships and Conference Travel Awards.

Conference Attendance Scholarships

These scholarships provide the difference in cost between a full registration and the cost of the student registration, thereby enabling the holder to attend all social functions of the Conference at the Student registration rate. To be eligible for receipt of a Conference Scholarship, the student nominated must be presenting a paper at the Annual Conference.

Presentation of all Awards will be made at the Annual Conference.

Nominations for Conference attendance scholarships for postgraduate students should be made to the Chair of the Scholarships Committee by 30 May of the year in which the conference is held.

Conference travel awards for postgraduate students

The Division has introduced a new travel award to support postgraduate students to attend the Annual Conference. Up to 5 awards, valued at $500 each will be made. These are separate from the Conference Attendance Scholarships, with the possibility of some students receiving both awards.

The awards will be merit based and to be eligible a student must present a paper at the conference.

Applications endorsed by the students supervisor must give the draft abstract of the paper to be presented at the conference along with a curriculum vitae.

Nominations for Conference travel awards for postgraduate students should be made to the Convenor of the Scholarships Committee by 30 May of the year in which the conference is held.
