RTM is a global leader in  producing and exporting solar salt and gypsum under the brand name of Dampier Salt.  Based on the northwest coast of Western Australia , our operations include Dampier, Lake MacLeod and Port Hedland.  Recognised for its leadership in the industry, the salt and gypsum operations are currently enjoying continued operational growth.

We are currently seeking a Superintendent Process for our Dampier Site to manage and improve all technical aspects of salt growth, processing and quality assurance methods of the Dampier Operations. This is a key role for the Dampier site with a focus on the production process from start to finish, with long term planning being the cornerstone of the role's scope.

On a day to day basis you will be working with senior partners in the business on quality and a long term strategic product delivery focus. You will develop the existing quality system further to embed, update and improve the business processes. Important aspects of the role include;

  • Managing the processing and laboratory operations to ensure quality and product growth targets .
  • Disseminating information to strategy and delivery partners including analysis of processing and quality data.
  • Working with stakeholders to develop operational plans, budgets, cost saving initiatives and best practice.

To deliver the planning, accreditation and support goals for this position you will come from or currently work in a leadership role. Coupled with tertiary qualifications in chemical, process or metallurgical engineering you will have a proven track record with ISO9001 certification and the ability to champion business change at a senior level.
